The evaluation criteria that I use to evaluate the multimedia websites are Presentation and Arrangement, Usability, Currency and Authority.

The reason why I use Presentation and Arrangement to evaluate is because if the pictures are not presented and arranged in a manner that capture attention it will beat the purpose of setting up a website that provides information and encourage people to go to their country.

The reason why I use Usability to evaluate is  because if it is difficult to navigate around the source to locate information people will find it hard to use and they will use another website that is easier to use.

The reason why I use Currency to evaluate is because if the information is out-of-date then the information will be useless as things will be different from what the people expects. So it is important to check if the information is up-to-date.

The reason why I use Authority to evaluate is because if a person with a good reputation writes the website people will tend to trust it more.

The reason as why i pick Greece as my dream holiday destination is because of the culture and amazing beaches that are there. The architecture there is really amazing too! There is also lots of island there that are popular such as Crete and Rhodes .

The criteria that i used to evaluate Stomp.com are purpose, coverage, authority, accuracy and currency.
As Stomp.com is a information providing site, by using purpose it to see if it had met it purpose of providing information. By using coverage is the check if the Stomp.com covered a wide range of news.
By using authority we can check if the news that it provides are creditable.
By using accuracy we can check if the news that it provides are real and not something made up stories.
By using currency we can check if the news is up-to-date or something that happens a few years ago.

In this lesson i have learnt that even though we can find lots of results online that doesnt mean all those results can be used so by using this evaluation method i can ensure that the results that i get is what i want

I will apply citizen journalism different by having people that are related and people involved in the tsunami to write them instead of people from different specialization.

The services that i will include is a rating system that readers can rate and comment on the topic to see if it is relevant or not.  There will also be a system to compare topics written in order to get an unbiased piece of information.

In my opinion, it is more effective to search in databases then using search engine, meta-search engine or subject directories  because it give reliable and up-to-date information as it is maintain most of the time by government. However, databases are not free most of the time and a fee is needed to access to it. In short databases have all the advantage of search engines, meta-search engines and subject directories. The only bad thing about databases is that it is not free.

In my case, if the project need to be very detailed i will use databases for my research. It really save lots of my time because information in databases are very detailed and written by professional in that particular subject. But if the project that i have do not need to be very detailed i do not feel it is necessary to use databases as there is a need to pay.

The thing that i have learnt from my wiki experience is by seeing how a topic from something insignificant become something very detailed and well done. I feel a sense of achievement by doing this wiki stuffs.
