My name is Gan Zhi Tong, my nickname that I usually use online is Rey which came from the name Jeffrey. I took the last 3 letters of "Jeffrey" instead of the usual "Jeff". I'm in the Diploma in Intelligent Building Technology and my batch is the last intake for this Diploma so it makes me feel honored to be in this Diploma.
The reason why I decided to take EIR as my second CDS is because I heard it from my friends that this is a easy subject. After having the first lesson I'm quite excited and looking forward to the next lesson cause the stuffs we are going to do seems fun.
I love reading books and I do not have any particular genre that I like. The genre of books that I read or borrow from the library are dependent on the mood that I am at that point of time. Recently, I am into self-improvement books and from time to time I will take down notes from it and think about in what ways I can improve myself as an individual. So to me reading is something that is very enjoyable and always fun. In order to learn this hobby of mine, you need to have a book and open it! Remember to start with books that interest you.
My favourite singer is Josh Groban, he got a really amazing voice and the song that he sing are very inspiring. I really recommend him!
Well, as a book-lover or a bookworm, my favourite hangout place other than my home, is the library. The library is a quiet place filled with books what could I ask for more? I also like to chill out at places like Starbucks and Coffeebean where I can drink a cup of coffee while enjoying my books.
Some of my favourite internet sites are Youtube, for it's videos, Gamespot, for keeping track of the games coming out, and lastly TP Homepage, for providing me information and ability to log in to check my Timetable and Result (Seriously, I mean it).
The Search Engine that I prefer is Yahoo because at it's homepage there will be link to show the latest news and I can check the weather from there too. There is alot of links that is on the webpage and it is arrange neatly and nicely so I find it every useful
